This theme park ride broke just seconds before take off

This video has been going viral off a theme park ride which broke just seconds before it was about to take off. 

A woman and a child were seating securely inside 'the catapult' which was about to through them hundreds of feet into the air before one of the main ropes snapped and landed beside them.

It is literally a miracle this accident happened before the pair were in the air as it could have been a disaster!

The ride is being filmed by an on-looker when he says 'the ropes looking a little frayed there', just seconds before it breaks completely. 

Ours hearts just stopped for a second watching this and we don't want to go to an amusement park anytime soon!
